“SASKATCHEWAN’S PIERRE BERTON.”...

So Garrett Wilson has been appropriately called.

An award winning historian, a novelist, a biographer and a true crime writer, Garrett’s books and articles span all of Saskatchewan’s today and yesterday.

Garrett’s writing draws upon a wealth of personal experience. A distinguished legal career was coupled with years of prominent political activism at both the provincial and federal levels. His interest in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and the sports tourism industry, has taken him to all four borders of the province and deep into the Barren Lands and the High Arctic. Agriculture, still Saskatchewan’s core identity, was Garrett’s life from childhood and for more than twenty adult years. A one-time private pilot, he gained a valuable connection to the the province’s aviation industry and its colourful personnel.
